- Order number or order ID
- Fulfillment/shipment reference
- Another stable order reference shared by both exports
Merge Orders with Shipments
Add tracking, carrier, fulfillment status or shipment dates to order records by matching a shared order or fulfillment reference.
Recommended setup
Master + Enrich keeps every order and appends shipment details to orders that have fulfillment records.
One order can have several shipments, so multiple output rows for one order can be correct.
How to combine orders and fulfillment
- Add the order and shipment exports and choose the relevant data sheets.
- Choose Master + Enrich and map the order reference between the two files.
- Review duplicate and multiplication warnings—especially if split shipments are common.
- Select tracking, carrier, shipment date and other output fields, preview the result and download.
Common fulfillment issues
One order can match several shipment rows and legitimately expand the output.
Order numbers may contain prefixes or formatting differences in one export.
A tracking number identifies a shipment, while the merge usually needs an order-level reference.
Order and shipment data are processed locally in the browser for normal jobs.
Add fulfillment data to your orders
Review the one-to-many matches before exporting the final Excel file.
Open MergeStudio →Confirm that the chosen order reference means the same thing in both exports.
